Vandekerckhove
Lake, a Manitoba designated High Quality fishery,
is 10 miles wide and 15 miles long and covers over
27,000 acres. The lake contains incoming and outgoing
rivers and creeks, islands, bays, reefs, and weedbeds
making it a fisherman's paradise. To view a map

In 1987 we implemented a "no kill" policy
for Trophy Pike. We feel this "catch and release"
philosophy will preserve the quality of our fishing
for years to come.
Each year many of our guests catch Manitoba Master
Angler Pike (41 inches or larger).
The Walleye
fishing on Vandekerckhove Lake is excellent. The islands,
points, and reefs provide ideal structure for fishing
for Walleye. Even though Wolverine Lodge is in northern
Manitoba, our fishermen catch several Master Angler
Walleye each year!
