About the Conference
2005 will mark the 24th anniversary of the Cornhusker-Canadian Clinical Conference. The conference is designed to provide practical information on issues relevant to physicians and their medical practice. The conference is sponsored by the Lincoln Medical Education Foundation. For over twenty years, clinicians from various specialties have shared their knowledge and expertise with our participants in the relaxed setting of the Canadian wilderness.

Topics are presented in a manner to promote interaction among participants and encourage discussion of different perspectives. The program has been reviewed and is acceptable for 14 prescribed hours by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). AAFP prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association (AMA) as equivalent to AMA Category I credit towards the Physician's Recognition Award.

Travel and Lodging
The 1,400 mile round trip from Winnipeg to Wolverine Lodge can be made by automobile or private/commercial plane to the town of Lynn Lake. Lynn Lake has an international airport and jet landing field. Early arrangements are necessary if you are using air travel. Each registrant is responsible for their own travel arrangements. Participants are asked to bring proof of citizenship (passport or birth certificate and photo ID) for customs entry into Canada

Wolverine Lodge is located 30 miles northwest of Lynn Lake, Manitoba, on Lake Vandekerckhove. The course facilitators have known the owner/manager, Fred Bettschen, for 24 years. Fred, his family, and staff will make every effort to provide a pleasant atmosphere for the conference and your stay.

Conference Fees: $250/Participant, $75/Guest
Lodge Deposit: $400 for each person in your party
